Two more of my favorites

garden collar

We all have that shirt, great color, came with sculpted collars and puffy sleeves that we might want to update.  Adding the Ladies Who Lunch – Garden collar and cuffs from the June arcade is a fun way to create a new outfit.  A simple blazer adds the structure needed. Of course I had to include the (fd) Bossy Boots in metallic pink with black ankle spikes i am wearing.  The idea of metallic boots scared me, but Fashionably Dead allayed my fears with all of these metallic, shiny, glossy, flowered boots available at the arcade this June.

The June Arcade

gatcha

This is my second Arcade.  I will admit that a 12 step program might not be out of the question.  Contemplating paying my tier I tossed caution to the wind and went to the Arcade instead.  Relaxing by the fire wearing my two favorite purchases I felt compelled to share two of my finds.   Fashionably Dead Bossy Boots in Dead Rose Wingtip and Ladies Who Lunch cuffs and collar in Heirloom.   I had tried the boots on and was pleasantly surprised at their versatility.   Add-on socks are offered for free at the Fashionably Dead main store.  All hyperlinks are landmarks to the Gatcha machine locations at the Arcade.

After a quick change into Teefy’s Aztec dress, BCC’s Emma Apple Flats I sat down to write a bit, enjoying the summery look.  I tried on my new Pink Fuel Harley #7 skin.  The lips a bit too pink for this dress, I added M.O.C.K rust lip gloss to soften the tone.  Thanks for visiting.  Don’t forget to join the Arcade group!

Skintastic

tdr skin1

Wandering around TDR I stumbled on Izzie’s offering.   I must admit it took effort to not buy all three skins.  I found myself shopping, wearing the demo till I decided on the GB ( ginger base).  Seriously, my new favorite skin.  I have trouble finding brows colored to my liking.  I usually add a freckle layer but there was no need.  Not being a model or photographer I tried to just focus on a face shot.  I keep making purchases thinking , *Oh I have to blog this*  but then someone will send me a life in candy crush and well, that takes care of that.  Oh, I notice faint light spots around my collarbone.  Apparently when I selected hide for a collar I was wearing it left a hint of light.  Didn’t want you to think it was part of the skin.  Enjoy!

Fairy Circle

After spending an hour, unsuccessfully searching for my Tres Blah saddle shoes from the last Collabor88 I decided to wear the demo shoes I found in my * demo* folder.  Frustrated I wandered off to my favorite fairy circle at StudioSkye.   Dandelion wisps floating through the air the setting seemed perfect to share a few of my purchases from the current Collabor88.  It took me a bit to find the skin for the particular shades LaViere offers so of course I ended up buying more than just one color line.  ::{u.f.o}:: ( ur.favorite.one) offers several crop T’s but this one was impossible to resist. Pairing it with Bermuda shorts completed the look.   I never did find my shoes, or even new ones to purchase but I left the sim less frustrated, fresh air and beautiful surroundings always helps me.

A Night Out

vinnieOut for a bit of music this evening I stumbled upon the Vinnie Show at The EDGE – Caledon Oxbridge Village Park.   If you have a chance to   hear Vincent Carpathea and Noma Falta sing you must!  What a wonderful way to spend an evening in Second Life. The Vinnie Show
